Now shoing removable cd-rw

When i plug in my USB cd-rw i hear the osund of the usb thing and when i fire up nero it sees my drive but windows doesnt display it on my computer.

Does Disk Management see it?
It may just be seen as a removable disk, not necessarily as an optical. Stranger things have happened.

Yep shows the as drive F Audio CD in disk manager.

disk management shows it but My Computer or Windows Explorer doesn't?

at a command prompt, can you see the contents of the F:\?

try opening explorer and see if you can navigate to that drive manually through the address bar.

I fixed it guys, I had a mapped network drive that was clled drive F too. So it was conflicting. hehe

Ok my computer is ****ing me off. It won't play any music cd. CD drives dont show up on itunes, shows up on windows explorer but windows media player says
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available.
