Hmm...interesting day...my cousin had to lap his Blue Orb, and since I'm the most /me coughs experienced OCer he knows I'm doing the lapping. So we did both his borb and my volcano but the thing is, I couldn't make it as mirrorlike as te other ppl
We used 220, 400,600,1500 paper, and it felt real smooth.
My Volcano is the weirdest. I mean, after the 1500 grit, the edges and sides looked real mirrorlike, but the center was kinda whittish (very like transparent scartchy white). I tried going from 600 back to 400, to get rid of the white, but it wouldn't do anything, so I just gave up.
opinions? experiences?
Oh yeah, my cpu went down from 43 degrees full load to 39 degrees full load, so I might try to push the chip tonight and see if it'll finally hit 1.17 gigs
