Can't change my password in AIM???

I am trying to change my password on AIM and get this stupid message

The request failed because you have logged in too many times or your IP address has logged in too often.

I have tried on my dial up account that I never use, and still get this message,, wtf ???

OK, so WTF is going on? I sold a screen name on ebay for 2 bucks thinking it would be easy to change, the guy is threatening to go to the cops unless he gets either his screen name or his money back.. No way i'm giving this dude my master password though. i'll have to refund him tonight if it's still doing this.
