Installing windows... For dummies???

Alright, i just bought a new computer, opteron processor, dfi lanparty expert motherboard, 2 gigs of ocz ram, ocz 520watt power supply and a maxtor diamond 10 hard drive but ...

I am having a hard time installing windows xp. It always stalls right at the end when it says "setup is starting windows".

What shall i do?? any suggestions??

I am really upset now, it just gets tuck either during the middle of installation, or at the beggining and it is not the cd cause i tried two other ones.

Run diagnostics. The DFI boards are known for issues related to RAM and all of the settings for them. Usually install problems are related to RAM. Run Memtest, and I will almost bet you there are errors.
