Which would you buy?
Black Ice II (http://www.hwlabs.com/products/index.htm)
or
The Super Cube (http://www.dangerden.com/test/images/super_cube/both_large.gif)
Warlord2

the super cube
but either one should give about almost if not identical results

i believe the Black Ice has an aluminum core which isn't as good and require you putting in some antifreeze to prevent galvanic(sp?) corrosion. Get the Supercube, it will be better.

Can't quite say that, there are hundreds of different varying heater core designs, core volume, material, number of passes, etc.
I would still go with a heater core, they are generally better and cost a lot less.

on procoolings radiator roundup, the black ice I beat the cube hands down, and the super cube would have to be over 2 times better to beat the black ice II i dout that the supper cube is 2 times as good. but it is cheeper il give you that;)

which one would fit better in a Lian PC-70 Case?
which one cools better?
which one is cheaper?
Which one is better overall?

well, i can maybe help....
fit: this depends on where you are going to put it... down on bottom, or up top, or on side, etc... you just gotta figure out where you want it to go, find out the sizes of your options, and do some measuring.
cools: well, the heater cores have proven to be right on par, if not better than any of the commercial expensive units.
cheaper: hands down, heater core. i got mine, all copper, pretty decent, off ebay in good condition for $7.50... deal huh? heater cores are ungodly cheap. you can afford to buy a FEW, and see which works best with your case... and you have a fallback too.
overall: my opinion: heater core. why spend $80 or so on something you can get out of a junk yard? its only going to perform "as good as" a heater core... so if they are measuring its performance against that, why not go with it? you will easily save $40 at LEAST on it. the others MIGHT cool a little bit better, but its going to be very negligable. and for the money you save, go and get better pump, tubing, block, etc, etc, etc.
my 2¢
Ok well Im going to throw in my 2 coppers here as well...
Before I read through all the rest of the replies here I went to the sites and looked them over a lil bit. At first I was going to say the Super, but after hearing its price, black hands down. I seriouslly doubt that the super would give you the temp difference for the possible price difference... Im not exactly sure of the price of the black but if the super is $80, no way, to freakin expensive...
just my 2 coppers....

I agree with this 100% !!
In this perspective most commercial rads (including Blackice & cube) are not worth the extra cost.
Maybe you could invest your savings in a peltier. Now THAT would make a difference

radiaters dont condensate whithout peltier
the black ice has mounting brackets heater cores dont.
the black ice I is half as big and could compeet whith the heater cores. the black ice II removes as much heat as the big momma heater core from www.overclock-watercool.com
heater cores are cheeper.
I thought about it and i decided to come up whith the money for the black ice II for mign.:p

the black ice has fan mounts for 2x 120mm fans on one side and i believe it has holes for mounting on the other side and i plan to mount mign on the top of my case when i get the money. heater cores, have nothing for mounting, i think most people use wire ties or drill holes
Get the super cube.
If anything you will aleast be able to brag! :D
I also hear that they cool incredibly well
even with 100s of watts of heat!

the black ice 2 removes 720KCal per hour (2856 BTU per hour) or 837Wh. thats the same as the big momma(heater core) id like to see a super cube do that, also the tubeing in the super cube is 1/4 not 3/8 or 1/2 will restrict flow:(

www.hwlabs.com or www.overclockwatercool.com
it is suggested that some thought be given to what is read
LOOK at the OCWC required fan specs
now go find that fan
having problems ?
you have to use a squirrel cage to get that flow and pressure
those numbers are not realistic
(and I'm being charitable)
be cool
