well im getting a free motherboard, processor and video card (msi kt4a-v, athlon xp, pci 9200se) and they will be used for a 24/7 home network file server more than likely running xppro or linux, havent decided.... but the motherboard doesnt have onboard sata because its ancient almost
anyways i need advice on an internal Sata card, no raid card required, that likes both gentoo linux and winxp pro.
also, running everything at stock with 1gb pc2700 should i have a problem with this? i heard msi boards suck but i hope i dont need a new board :(
