just curious if a card would still be under warrenty if you changed the cooling
and if you could send it in bare when you do

In most cases, if you tamper with the original configuration, you void the warranty. This doesn't always happen, but if you have any of your original paperwork(or have the serial# handy) you can check on the manufacturers website and get the exact terms of your warranty.

It should still be under warranty, I changed my BFG cooling to a waterblock and my RMA got approved. Just switch it back to the original heatsink before sending it back.

Always keep the parts from your mods for just that reason. es[ecially hen chankging heatsinks on the mobo or the GPU.
