Is it true that a copper heatsink cannot use an aluminium radiator?

You can use them together, however it isnt suggested. Due to that if you mix two different types of metals within the same setup they will cause corrosion easier. I cant give the exact reasons but I know it is true.... Due to 2 seperate things, one, well hell everyone says it! and 2 When I was in schooling for Auto-body they pointed out that if you place 2 dis-similar metals in contact together and add water they will corrode. Same concept basiclly, And I know from that it is a fact. Think of this, look at an older car, look at the metal molding along the door frames and look underneath it, there will be rust if the paint was even partially chipped... Apologies, Im rambling..
Peace

Its called galvanic action what happens is you get electrical change in the water and it starts to act a bit like a battery.
That's the simple explanation.

Water wetter for one will help reduce this effect. As well as other products. It can be done I would use water wetter and change my water every 6 months to a year. And be sure you use distilled water.

Its best to use all copper if you can. Well I like copper myself anyway ;)
