hey guys, i have a problem with my radeon 9700, first off i got everything connected to go to my tv from the s-video port to the rca, i had to force enable the tv in my control panel, but when i enable it, and click apply, the screen on my tv and monitor go blank accept for the mouse cursor, then after about 15 seconds, the tv gets snow again, and the monitor flickers and goes to a blank screen with just the mouse pointer, i cant even ctrl+alt+del, i have to turn the computer off and restart it again to regain my desktop, and suggestions, thanks for your help!! i also have the latest omega drivers installed...

S-Video works great with Win 2k but with XP it has copy protectin mesures so it doesn't work.

On my ATi card I go into overlay and set the theater options.

Make sure the radio is set to Theater mode and then set the rest to suite your taste.

i never had any issues when i had a 9800...
Grab ATI tool and take out the macrovision that may help

Also what rez you using?
TV-out will only work with 6x4, 8x6 and 10x7
give 800x600 a go 1st and work your way from that point.
