My laptop has a p3 850MHz CPU in does anyone know if it will be a mobile processor, or a desktop processor, can I use it in a desktop pc if I took it out of the laptop?
This is a strange question but its just out of interest!!
DO you think its possible to upgrade the CPU??
The Laptop is an IPC Starnote! (Bad Name I know)

More than likely it is a mobile CPU. And chances are your not going to run it as a desktop CPU. And you might be able to upgrade it, but most laptops aren't designed to upgrade anything but the memory and the hard drive.
