nobody seems to be getting any points in their individual lists, but the team page still shows us getting points...

I noticed the same thing Joe, Apparently has something to do with the new year since that's when it started. F(OC)LD has a little more than 1700 points tied up at the moment. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

yeah... ya all is right. i'm sure it's just a glitch in his program and that he's been bombarded for 'fix it now!' requests already.

Yea, that had me scratching my head at first, but then chalked it up to probable new year's glitch.

I've not been home for a couple of weeks so I just thought one of my computers died or something!
I'm really glad to hear it's just a glitch and not my computer.

Won't be home for another week, so still a chance for something to go wrong.
My neighbor gets home today and hopefully he will turn on his borged computer which has been off for the last week.
My son's 3.0 northwood Dell died just before Christmas  and he said Dell replaced it with an 840  . This was the 2nd time his Dell died, it was out of warranty but Dell replaced it anyway saying it was a safety hazzard. I was just about to give up on Dell after his computer died twice in less than 1.5 years when they came through after all and it was their idea, so Dell is back in my good graces again. :) Now, if it could just be overclocked. :bang head Oh, well.
Nice  ... even not oc'ed ... an 840! ... time to get 2 qmd's goin' on that puppy ... hopefully enough mem on it ... try one one of the recent threads (ven0m?, others)progs for stopping/slowing one qmd for when he is using the rig.
That should be a nice production bump if the temps don't become a problem. :burn:

It has 2 gb of ram so that's not a problem. If it were mine I guarantee it would be folding 2 instances, but it's not.

It's his home computer with his school stuff on it and he's not yet ready to take any chances with it. I haven't seen it yet so I don't know how it's cooled, but probably only minimum (quite) cooling. I wouldn't be suprised if after the newness wears off that I can't get him to try folding 2 instances. Just have to bide my time and be patient.

I don't want his wife to think the computer failed because of folding!!! You know how people are a little suspicious about what fah might do to their computer running 24/7 at 100% when you ask them to let you borg it. So, I'll let him fold for a while longer on it before I suggest trying 2 instances.
