Ok, so my main pc is being sold off and im now using a laptop i was given. Now its pretty darn slow, and i was wondering what sort of upgrades I have open to me...iv heard about pin modding and putting in better cpus...and this thing definately needs more ram... what options do i have open to me?
Iv got this exact model/specs -

http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/selected_product_option.jsp?service=UK&PRODUCT_ID=104793&DISC_MODEL=0

and heres what cpu-z says:

So what do you guys think? apart from ram can i upgrade anything else? is it even worth adding more ram? also, on a side note...i can alter bios settings EXCEPT graphics ram useage...leaving me stuck on 8mb....i can change every other setting, but that one defaults back to 8mb everytime i alter it... not that this things gonna play much :D

I looked through all the different flavors of the L10, and it seems they are all only availible with cel-m @ 400mhz fsb w/1mb L2 cache. You need the intel 915 chipset (supports 533mhz fsb) to be able to pin mod, and your lappy has the 855 chipset - sorry, no pin mod. Your best option for a cpu is a p-m centrino with 400mhz fsb.
