Rather than sort through the old discussions of the test versus the graphical f@h, I wondered if anybody knows, right now, is one faster than the other?

I don't think there's any difference, if there is, it's not much of one, as long as the screensaver is off and you keep the graphics closed.

Thanks. I think that we should make sure that we tell people this when we recruit as well. I let my Screen saver come on for a long time before I heard this.

So the key is: turn the Screensaver off (do this in your Windows Display Properties), and run folding out of the system tray only, with no graphical window showing (make sure you see the folding icon in your System Tray, located at the bottom right).

I also had a problem with my computer freezing when I was trying to disable the screensaver (the preview thing made it freeze), so I had to find the .scr file and delete it manually.
