just install the 2 operating systems on different partitions or hard drives you then get a menu on boot asking which OS you want to boot into...should be easy

What OS's would you be dual booting? Its easy to do with linux but gets tricky with multiple M$ os's.

If its linux then install windows normally (assuming thats what your using) and then just install linux on the other hdd and most mainstream distros of linux include a boot manager with it, so each time you boot you will be asked what OS to boot into.

damn

it would be xp pro and x64 pro so kinda problem would i be able to install my own bootmanager to do it?

Here's just one of many articles that describes in detail the entire process of dual-booting the two OS's. It also explains about the boot loader screen that appears after installing XP x64, and how to change the default OS by editing the Boot.ini.
