recycle bin decided to hide on me...

here in cali the power has been popping on and off...

well this morning i noticed my recycle bin is gone from my desktop...


i tried going to: my computer, view, explorer bar, folders, and then dragging recycle bin to desktop but it will not take...


how to recover ?

i never have any icons on desktop besides recycle bin...

and i dont use norton anymore...


and im a dee dee dee ... cause i just rught clicked and selected show desktop icons and it re-appeared...

next time that happens try using Tweak UI, and see if that works. Dont worry about wasting space, maybe someone will do a search one day and find this thread helpful! :)

well for some odd reason i went into comtrol panel snooping around and then r-clicked my desktop to properties...

If the Recycle Bin icon disappears again, you probably have HDD
corruption, probably because of the power outages. :(
