SETI=The Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence.

It's a program that you run on your computer that processes work units looking for ET:)

All in all what we do is download a work unit 360kb in length and our computers uses an alogthim to analize the data. Once we are done with a work unit we return it and get a new one. What we are looking for are repetitive signal spikes...aka...gaussians. Here we hope to here ET's favorite TV shows or whatever space signal they decided to send. This is known as passive listening.
