I've got 2 partitions, one WinME and the other Win98SE dual boot using Partition Magic (version 6 I think). I'd like to upgrade the WinME partition to WinXP. Is that possible while maintaining my dual boot capability?

yes ,you should have no problems doing that.But my advise is that if you have the full version(not a upgrade) to format the pertion me is on and do a full install.

I read that Partition Magic 7 was Windows XP compatible but not any of the earlier versions.

According to this (http://www.pcpitstop.com/xpready/apps.asp) Partition Magic should be compatible. Well, I should say that it's not specifically mentioned at being INcompatible.

v7 IS compatible w/ XP, not sure of the earlier ones though.

In all reality I think it is just as easy if not easyer to make,resize,delete ect. partions with a good old win 98 floppy.. but who am I to say....:p
