You know, I visited the DangerDen site just a few minutes ago to take a look at their rads.
What the h*ll is a "Low Pressure Drop Cooler"??
And does anyone know it it's any good?

Is that a fancy name for a cooling tower (bong)?

Well, looking at the pic's it's definitely not a bong cooler.
It looks like a small rad, with fewer cooling fins.

Traditional raditaors (like in a car) have 1 large hollow at each end connecting all the passages. This gives a high 'pressure drop' as the water enters the large chamber (coming from/going to a smaller, 3/8" tube like most water cooled projects use).

The radiators on Dangerden that are called 'low pressure drop coolers' if you look closely at them, the individual rows are smaller and there is no large chamber at either end. It maintains a more equal pressure on the water to what is being pumped through the smaller tubing. There is still a pressure drop, but it's not as big as a traditional radiator.

This design should keep you flow rate (GPH) higher.

Hmmmm, that doesn't sound too good. I mean, if there isn't a pressure drop and a high flow rate the water won't have much time to loose it's heat !?
I'm still not convinced. I'm going with a cheap heatercore. Or even with only a big reservoir. That would be at least one fan less. Silence.......Hmmmmm ;)

Good choice i bought one of these and the barb around it sucked. They really don't work that great ethier. I would definatly try somthing else if i had to do it again.
