7800 GT Artifacting

I got a leadtek 7800gt and it is showing some out of place polygons in my games like Rome Total War, Far Cry, and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Is there anything i can do to fix or test the card to make sure it isn't bad? Or is this a drivers issue?

Either driver issue, heat issue, or bad card.

Do the artifacts appear right away or after a little while? If it takes awhile, it's heat. If all the time, either drivers or bad card.

If you installed it after an ATI card, uninstall drivers, run Driver Cleaner 3 in safe mode, reinstall drivers. Also try other drivers, try the official ones from nvidia's website.

Run some kind of utility that logs temperatures while you game/benchmark to make sure that's no the issue. Make sure to have good airflow near the card...

If neither of those work, RMA the card.
