XP's good. Will be a little sluggish on the 450 thought. It also likes lots of memory. With the very low price of RAM these day, bump it up. The more the better.

well I have xp....It does feel a little slower then windows 98... but I guess you can say it's well worth it with all the features it has.

Alot of the features you'll have to turn off to make it run alot more faster..

BTW where do you get all this money ... LOL

my experience with XP, is that upgrading with it stinks. the only way to appreciate and use it is by doing a fresh install.

ive upgraded many times, and it seems as if all it does is kinda "meld" XP and the previously installed OS together into some kinda hybrid. the same bugs are there, its bloated, slow and not stable. with a fresh install, i have had no problems what so ever.

of course ive used this principal with every os, for me a general rule of thumb is "always do a fresh install".
