My Voodoo5 found its place back in the box it came in today.
And with joy I put in my new Gainward GeForce3 Ti200:D. I Installed the drivers on the cd with extensions of 2181. My first run of 3dmark 2k1 posted 7403 marks. The ole v5 could barely pass the 3k mark with just 3010 marks as my highest ever...so yes it was a good upgrade, a very good upgrade. Couple questions.....being new to the nvidia world can I just download the latest XP drivers the 83's i believe and just install them overtop of whats there now? Also, the cardexpert tools that came with the card have their overclocking tools which currently say 200 core 428 mem. When I went into the display properties there was an option to turn on nvidia overclocking in there as well and after rebooting it put me back down to 175 core 400 mem. Which overclocking utility should I use and what are expected frequencies of this card? Thanks in advance for any info.:)
