Which one is faster?

...Just kidding. After months of piecing my gaming rig together, I finally added the missing link. I was running some 6600 no name brand card for the longest time. I went and splurged. I bought the 7800gtx just a few minutes ago. I will be installing it shortly. I'm going to post benchmarks of the 6600 3dmark05 score and then install the 7800gtx. Let's see how much better this is than my current card. Also will be posting up on how good this overclocks. I'm stoked.

I was about to say...wtf kinda question is that?!

You put that GTX in yet? Your going to sh*t yourself on how much more powerful this card is, its like going from the gaming world back to reality :D

Whoa, that's like a huge jump, once you start OCing it, you won't even remember how the 6600 performed anymore.

o yeah?

[this is from the year 2003 or something.. i can go further back but thats kinda stupid]

intel extreme -> fx 5200 [bottlenecked] -> 6200 agp 4x [bottlenecked extremely performed just SLIGHTLY better than the fx..-> 7800GT SLI :D less bottle neck.. but still bottle necked XD yeahh.. that was some huge ass jump. I got 20 fps in CS1.6. And then all of a sudden i get like over 100 in quake 4. Bleh.
