What would I do in your situation?
Hmmm.
I would get a 60-70 Watt peltier. I would get a damn good heatsink. Something that will handle aircooling that pelt. A PIII heatsink would probably be perfect. If you dont mind losing a few PCI slots.
Are there any holes around the GPU to attach a pelt to? If there isn't your pretty much stuck with air cooling unless you feel like glueing a waterblock to your GPU.
I would personnally find a way to mount a peltier on that thing. Anything but paste. And it needs to be tight. Very tight.
Big fans, and lots of them :p.

Radeon's are definetly not good for OCing, reliability in the product dwindles considerably, even with excellent cooling. Be careful.

congrats on the good oc so far. hope that heatsink for ram makes a good difference. and rittoru or whatever you call yourself, you so biased against the radeon arent you? yes, old radeons arent as good as your godly geforce line to oc, but not many have attempted to oc the retail radeon 8500s. lets see how it goes before we start judging eh? and even if it doesnt oc as well as geforce3 card, who cares it still costs a lot less so any gain will be already adding to the performance/value of the card.

I have already seen 2 of them fry from OCing, they were not meant to be overclocked any higher as they aready come "factory overclocked" fool.

they probably fried because they were not cooled enough

wow, how nice rittoro. not everyday i get to be called a fool by one of such godly standing as yourself. also, you should keep in mind that athlons fry w/ stock cooling if you overclock them a lot. adding bigger, badder heatsinks or other cooling methods solves this. this, its a heat issue not a true hardware limitation. same might be true with the radeons. slap some nice sinks or watercool them and who knows.

I didn;t realize the radions had such highly clocked memory! Good job on that overclock!

Man you've just seen everything. I'm doubting you even own a store? And just another Nvidia brainwash defending his crappy purchase.
