OK. Here is what I will be cooling. CPU/Apogee, Video cards/maxe4 gpu X 2. I am ussing a BIX3 and an Iwaki WMD20. I have some high-speed Panaflo fans that are too loud for my liking when undervolted. I have heard good things about the Delta fans. How do these look for CFM and undervolting abilities.

Feel free to leave any suggestions or feedback. Just to reiterate, my goals are: great cooling and quiet...cost isn't an issue (today, anyway).

Those are all crazy loud. Like 5x louder than the H1A's. I would suggest something like this: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/de12trbllows1.html

Yeah...i see that they are VERY loud. My thought was that I could undervolt them 95% of the time (5v) and run the a little faster when need be. Thanks for the link. I have read that the BIX3 can be pretty restrictive...what CFM am i looking for?

Let me just warn you, if you're thinking your Panaflo is loud, stay away from the GHE. At 65db, we're talking louder than a ShopVac. The thing pushes an amazing amount of air, but you're hearing will suffer, believe me. Undervolting to 7v doesn't help much, and it won't even start at 5v. Stick with the Panaflo's or if you want a delta, go with the triple blade.

haha if i recall, 65 db is equivalent to a hair dryer, so if youre looking for a quiet fan the deltas probablly arent your best bet.....

I would avoid the tri blade deltas. I have 3; Two 120x120x25’s and one 120x120x38. The 25’s are pretty quiet when undervolted but I only use those to cool the hard drives so big air flow is not important. The 38mm one has a clicking noise like it’s unbalanced but it actually gets more noticeable when the fan is undervolted. I’ve heard nothing bad about these (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=433492&highlight=review) so far. I’m considering getting three for my PIX3 but they do pack a punch in the wallet.
