i sanded the plastic will this hurt me ?

I replied to your other post.
You could sand a swirl pattern on it and say you did it on purpose.

if there are sand marks on it, sand it down w/ some 600, 800 or 1000 to get them out. All is not lost, you just have a little bit more work on your hands.
