i need to create an animation that reads a number from a computer and displays that number in the animation. the number updates very quickly, so it would need to update constantly... i was thinking there should be a way to get this number into an xml file then insert that into a flash animation. the problem is i know very little about this stuff.
a good example of exactly what im trying to accomplish is an animated clock that reads and displays your system time. anyone know how i could do this?
