Was reading a post about viper john vmoding some cards and stuff and did some research on this GDC setting. I didnt get much info other then what the gdc is.
Acording to vj's post (or what i can understand from it)properly setting a gdc combined with a good oc will get better performance then just leaving it at 0 like evga and bfg do.
Ive tried flashing the bios to set it back to 40 like i hear it should be?
But even with the 1.5v bios vmod i get some annoying video corruption in 3dmark05 (with the evga stock oc).
Aparently thats why they did a bios revision most cards would artifact/distort at stock settings with gdc 40mhz.
I figured giving it more voltage would help but it still wasnt enough.
I might try gdc 20mhz and see how much of an oc i can get and how it will affect scores/oc.
But what i'd really love is some basic info on how to find out what GDC is good for you. I mean ya i could just fidle for countless horus and end up either messing somthing up or finding it myself but its alot simpler to ask the gurus :)
*crosses fingers and hopes vj himself has some tips and tricks for me hehe*
