Hi guys :)
Folder from down under here, just thought I'd post a little something to get you guys going... we are currently 0wning you.
We need some decent competition so throw us a challenge :)

a little friendly competition is a good thing :-) It's for a good cause.

Pay no attention to him, my fellow overclocking brethren from across the pacific. With a mighty 3 WUs (http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/userpage?q=Sonic) contributed to our team, Sonic can hardly be (neither should I be for that matter) considered to be representing the OCAU folding community at large.

Personally I'm glad that we have such an active and enthusiastic worldwide community of folders. At OCAU, we aren't resting on our laurels, as especially so early in the v2 stats, places can fluctuate quite rapidly. While OCAU may have gotten the better of you guys in our first encounter, I wait with bated breath to see if you'll ramp up and chase us down again ;)

I just thought i'd say g'day from down under too.

As funky said, sonic just not represent us. We are a friendly bunch :D

You guys are great competition. I hope us aussies can keep ahead of you guys for a little while longer, but i have a feeling it won't be easy.

An odd and complicated thread here...almost makes a circular path...:D

Anyhoo, the theme here is that we are all in a friendly competition and lets keep it that way.

Besides, we all know that very soon OC.com will be stomping everyone else out there ;) so let others enjoy a their 15 minutes while we keep shoveling coal in to our folding furnace.

Dont worry we are not resting on our laurels, I can feel another upgrade coming along so we can keep you guys (and girls) at bay a little longer...

I'd just love to know how I was promoting unfriendly folding.

As for you, chestRcopRpot, I didn't say I was representing anyone. I merely stated that I was a member of the OCAU folding team. I think you need to stop licking balls and get on with it.

And funkychild, I'd have more WU's if I hadnt been using folding #1 until Monday morning. I think you need to lend a little more support for your own team instead of ripping it up over here.

Stanman - Yeah, good point. Stromlo High are our backbone. Let's hope they can stay around to assist us in our current domination. :P

We have outscored them 4 out of the last 5 updates...looks like this run of theirs is gonna topple. That high school that seems to be giving them a huge portion of their workunits seems to be, shall we say, turning off for the night?

500 bytes a second is not good for getting data from the US, it seems the servers time out before they get any work so a lot of machines stay idle, doesnt help our o/p.........

to all "real" OCAU members out there, thanks for the great competition. i wish i could help out more, but 2 of my boxes are down :( (total of 2.4ghz...)

I wasn't out to offend anyone. It's a friendly challenge for christ sake...
I don't really give a fat rats clacker if my comments were diplomatic or not. That was not my initial intention. I asked for a challenge in Folding. Not some abusive remarks about how I was doing in F@H or how my fellow OCAU folders were unfriendly.

I apologise for any offence but I believe some of you need to brighten up a little and not take something like F@H so seriously.
