im not sure where i should post this but anyways..im have a problem with my comp .
every so often my computer just restarts it self. with no error or anything..
usauly when i playing a game...
i have up to date drivers for my 9600np vid card.
anyone have any idea what wrong?

Is this a pre-built system or one you built?

How old is it?

What other parts are inside the system itself?
Which OS are you running? (what ver of M$?)

Need a bit more here.

Restarting could be many things.

When does it restart, how long between restarts, as stated by warrior, make, upgrades, PSU, etc.

Have you checked your temps in the BIOS? Have you been doing any overclocking...?

Any info would help.
 
well its a pre bulit sistem about 3 yrs old..
p4 2.5ghz
windows xp home 2002
with service pack 2
umm wd 80 gig hard drive.
award bio's

anything else you need to know?

uselly when im play games... sometimes when im just surfing the net the temps are fine around 50 i think
i havent overclocked anything
 
ok so i ran memtest86
and it said i have 2 errors one at 493.1mb and 508.6mb..
so now that i know i have errors what can i do about them?
how can i fix them?
or am i stuck forking out dough for new ram???
