I recently put a 85W-110W TEC on my 7800GT and I found that for some reason the temperature won't report anything below 31C.
I'm pretty sure it's not a wall with my cooling because when I turn my TEC on the temps drop quickly to 31C and then stop. Even when I put a load on the card it stays at 31C. But if I turn my TEC off, the temps eventually rise above 31C. Does anyone know why this happens? . . . .
I'm thinking that perhaps the diode on the card isn't able to sense anything below 31C. :shrug:
