I am trying to do a repair install on winxp pro and I get to the copying files part and it gets a copy error, "setup cannot copy the file clbcatq.dl_" from the i386 directory 
I can click browse and see the clbcatq but it is not shown as a file it shows as a unknown file type. If I cancel or skip file it goes on and on about other files in the i386 directory that can't be read 
I don't know if it's related but the problem started when I tried to set up my network. If I do the repair while skipping all the unreadable i386 files I can't get the network to recognise the computer. Am I in for a reformat? Or can I be saved? HALLLPPppppp
