I got my system running stabil at 1066 using celeron 800 CPU. Now I checked it to run faster and there is the problem: Until about 1100 Mhz Windows (2000) does boot perfectly, but if I run any 3d-Stuff, the System always drops back to windows after a while. Sometimes it's possible to play Unreal Tournament for just an hour, another time it's unpossible to run 3d Mark 2001 completly without dropping back to windows. From what does it depend ? And how can I solve the problem, my idea was to improve I/O-core to higher settings for getting more stability ?

I've also got a Celeron 800, and I currently run it @ 1108 MHz. I increased the Vcore from 1,75 to 2,0 volts. It seems fine in Win98, but I've got some problems in Windows 2000. The computer hangs randomly, or I get STOP message saying UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP or KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. But I've been running a Stability Test in 8 hours without problems...
The Win2K driver for my SCSI card (Tekram DC315U) is buggy, and my SB PCI128 (CT4700) sound card isn't fully compatible with Win2K - it isn't listed in the HCL.
Try running it at lower speeds and testing it out.. And whats your temperatures right now at full load?
Hope you got good cooling as well as case fans.

As I told, running the system at 1066 it's stabil at all, tested by running UT-Intro for about 20 hours. Problems as said occur at 1100 Mhz.
Under full load the CPU has 36°C cooled by FOP 38 and ArticSilver. System Temperature is 40°C.
Why not just stay at 1066 then? Its basically a 34 mhz increase.
Unless ya dont want to wait like .3 of a second more, or something.
