Is there a difference with the retail W2K PRO(boxed) & the OEM W2K PRO(shrink wrapped). What version should I look out for?

So both OEM & RETAIL versions are EXACTLY the same? I live were there is no support for any product:o

Windows 2000Pro is Windows 2000Pro. Unlike graphics cards and hardware, there's nothing that can physically be changed.

Gotcha! I forget your real name as I have lost your e-mail addy from a few months back. Anyways, what version should I watch out for? I've heard 2495 but not sure..............

The only difference is the price...the OEM is about 1/2 price but is only to be sold with a new system (defined as a MB and CPU).

with pro you get 1 or 2 incidents not sure for the retail

but every call after that its 245.00

if you never call MS then get the oem same and cheaper
