Well I finally got the Barn up and running...

A simple little barn, Celly D 336 @2.9ghz (5%oc for burn in)

and long and behold the stable has it's first QMD :)

However there seems to be some odd happenings
first the Temps are weird 47C CPU and 51C MB temps....now I know about cooling but how the hell can the temps for the MB be higher? is it the PSU?

Anyway I am running on a stock HSF so that might be a problem as well

Bottomline is atleast I have my first QMD and that's what seems good though I think the PPD could be better. 184.8 according to em.

awww... that's just beautiful :-D

are you sure that is the MB temp and not like the PWM chip or something? i don't think it could be your PSU. what is your case/system temp like?

I thought celld d's ran quite cool under load....

What he said, is the mb reading the chipset?

asus probe reports 51c must be the chipset.

going to research this some more and see if it might be the gpu for the video onboard.

My PWM temps are higher than my processor's, chipset is ~processor.

I have several MOBO's that report higher temps than the processor...I was told the config was wrong for the temp readings...

Ahhh, not my experience. Got three of them folding on three different mobos and not a one of them is cool. Using lapped xp-90s along with lapped cpus.
