Simple question. Is it worth installing one? Where should I put it and how should I connect it in to the system? How would I bleed the system if I didn't have one?
P.S. I plan to move my computer at least twice in the next 6 months.

you mean for draining? if so.. just put anywhere at the bottem of your loop. but useually bleeding means getting the air out. in witch case.. use a t-line.

So is draining it just unplugging the bleed line and letting it flow or does a vaccum build up?

By bleed line do you mean T line? Most T lines go at the top of a loop so uncapping it would not do anything, but if you put it at the bottom it will work. The water will flow out, but the pump should be off.

Ok I think my question has been answered. I will have a small fillport reservoir up at the top of the case with a T-line coming into the bottom of the loop near the pump. Then somewhere close to that, I will have the line going all the way down to a bleed port. Maybe I could find a "X-line", something that goes 4 ways and just integrate it that way?
I used a t-line at the bottom of the loop with about 6 inches of hose and a grey PVC ball valve with a screw on cap in the end. When i want to drain it, I just unscrew the cap and open up the valve over a bucket. Using a ball valve makes it very easy to drain.
edit - I should have said a t-fitting, not a t-line above

if you already have a res you do not need a FILL port. if you want easyer bleeding ( bleeding of air out of the system) then you want your res at the top. if you want to empty your system of its coolant ( not the same as bleeding as bleeding leaves fluid in the system and is for removing air) then a t line at the bottom of the system with a valve or tube and cap is what you want
having a t line and a res in the same system is generally a waste
