Hi, QQ.
I need to set up a bunch of workstations (Dells), and rather than go through the same process of program installation over and over, I'd like to Ghost the image of a 'master machine' to the other ones.
The problem is related to CDKEY use. I can't ghost a machine thats registered (WinXP) to a new machine because they would have the same CDKEY, which MS doesn't like
Someone mentioned to me that they thought there was a way, back in Win2k, to make a desktop go back to the initial setup screen windows gives, where they could enter a CDKEY, thereby allowing me to input the proper registered key and still retain my setup of their ODBC, programs, domain, etc.
Anyone ever hear of this?
