I stopped transmitting and re-booted. Now my Spy icon is missing after I retransmitted. Is that normal?

Hmmm I did alot and no WU's???? My Seti not the spy Icon on this machine turned from blue to Yellow. Whats goin on. 12 hours and no WU's?

The yellow icon means that you have a WU finished and is working on another one. It just depends on how many WU you do in one session.

What do you have in your desired cache box?(SETIdriver) I think you have to finish all your WUs first, then the icon will turn blue. After that your are ready to transmit. The individual stats are updated every week.

Yup... That there's your problem.... No credit from SETI untill you send them back. Otherwise, they don't know if you crunched them or not! Too bad the client dosen't just send them data about how many WUs you've done...... And of course the WU itself!

You have to wait until all five are done. After that if you want to crunch single WUs just put 1 in the cache box.

Not true you can double click the seti driver icon (yellow dish in tray) click the transmit button as long as you have atleast one WU finished. If you have an always on connection just click the auto transmit box. It will send them as you finish.

or if u r using SETI Driver, click the "transmit" button. that will send the all finished WU back to Berkeley even if u have some WU awaiting to be done.

also, if u have DSL or Cable, u can also check the "auto transmit" button. that way, it will send the WU back to Berkeley as soon as it's done.

Your right! After I thought about it, when I changed the cache number to 2, I had already started another one, so the icon turned yellow and continued working the second WU. You can change it anytime. I forgot to put my thinking cap on! :)

basher is right
just double click the icon and hit transmit
a little dos box will open,transmit the old, get a new and close
or set it to auto return and it will do it automatically
