ya it'll most likely be moved and just to let you know my score increased 10 pts in 3dMark2001 which is big for a tnt2m64:)

hitman what score do you get with 3dmark2001 with ur tnt2m64? i get 777. mine is clocked at 145/155. anytips on making it faster?

i use tntclk. my system is:
700mhz celeron@ 788mhz
256 megs of cas 3 pc133 ram (its runnina at cas2 perfectly stabel)
abit vl6 mobo
tnt m64 32 megs of board video
on board sound
jaton v 90 56k modem
hival 52x cdrom
samsung 8x4x32 burner
quantum fireball 7200 20 gig harddrive ata 66
my mem is running at 4 way interlieve 2-2-2 and at 111mhz.

have you tried using coolbits? I found that to be the best to oc my card. also, how cool is your card running? What is the divisor for your fsb to your pci slots? After that what is your fsb running at?

how can i fing my temp for the card. the pci divider is 1/2 my pci bus is like at 37.5mhz and my fsb is at 75mhz and my agp is at 75mhz. my mem is set at hostclock+33m

You can't find it without a thermometer but try and guess how hot it's running. Touch the heatsink while it's running to see. Careful it might burn(the tnt2's don't get that hot so i doubt it but it's possible). Try using coolbits and what type of cooling do you have?

i have the stock heat sink with arctic silver under it (i added that 2 days ago) and im using a pentium 133 fan on top of the HS

I have 150/170 but with you're cooling you should be able to get a little more out of it. Have you tried using coolbits? Try increasing your FSB just a little if you can. Is your card an agp or pci card?

Thank you Placid you saved me with those drivers i gained almost 500 whopping points whooo hooooo i scored 4197 at 800/600 32 bits wow before i was getting around 3700 with the 21.81 drivers and i was getting some really low low scores like less then 2000 points with the 21.88 amazing what a driver could do. Thanks again Placid for posting you made me one happy customer :)
Incase no one has noticed these drivers have built in aniso adjustment :)

Too bad I poo poo Nvidia so much now or I'd find that useful ;).

lol these drivers will destroy your particular setup someone's just trying to stop you from doing something stupid listen to them. Ok now seriously that's weird 1st dl no problems.

Did anyone else try the win9x drivers tho? I bet you all have XP (I will by tomarrow tho so it doesn't really matter i guess)

no i have winme. Also you should be downloading a file that's 2+mb. You must be dl the wrong file. It's right on the page the link goes to.
I am using the win xp drivers.
I download the win 9x, unzipped fine for me but I cant try installing them.

3dmark 2001 score with gf2pro 235/465 before drivers:
5090 with slight artifacting
3dmark 2001 score with same card
5450 flawless, no arts!!:eek: Textures seem sharper too....lets see what we can get with some tweakin.....

I'm having trouble with these drivers too. I just uninstalled my detonator 21.83 drivers with nvmax uninstall, then tried to execute that file for putting in the new drivers. Stupid thing had an error in decompression and said the file is either corrupt or it is an unrecognized format. I'm mad now. Running in stupid 640x480 at 16 colors at this very moment.
I tried downloading the win2k drivers. I'm going to try again now to see if ti will work this time <<crosses fingers>>
By the way, I've got a gainward geforce3. before going through all this trouble, let me first be sure the drivers work for my card.

my card is a agp style. my memory is at 180mhz and its perfectly stable, i got a score of 830 on 3dmark2001. ill bring back the core speed to 135mhz (140 gave me lines on the screen)
and yea i did try coolbits and its awesome!!

do you think i should go any higher with my memory? will it get hotter? i do have a modified case fan that is connected to a seperate psu. and that fan blows like crazy.

If you try and push memory too far even with good cooling you get artifacts. You have to increase the ram voltage on the card to lose the artifacts. Heat causes crashes not enough voltage causes artifacts. I'm not sure how you increase the voltage though. Never wanted to try.

No problem glad to help :) artifacts are things that show up on the screen like lines, black blotches, ect. caused by overclocking. That's a good overclock for this card keep up the good work.

These drivers enabled me finally to run 3DMark2K1 properly...
Before with the 21.83 I got a DX error after the 10th test... Now I got throgh all the tests. The card is on my old comp (K6-III 450) so don't laugh at my scores... 575... Not too bad a guy I know scored 211 with Riva TNT 16MB with a K6-2 450.
I tried them and gained 138 pts on my 3DMark2001 score, with no problem. They are a keeper.

what the hell? when i download the drivers from the link above i get a setup error or some crap like that. and why arent the new drivers at www.nvidia.com?

try redownloading them and reinstall them. They're not on nVidia because they're beta drivers. They haven't been tested all that well so they may not work on some systems but I've never had any problem with beta drivers.

Because they are Beta and still under development.

Actually they originated from MSI, they are the drivers that come with their nforce motherboard but I am sure nvidia gave them to MSI.

First time I've seen Quadro specific features in the drivers too.
I have a modd'ed CLAP to quadro and loaded that driver......under the OGL custom pull-down there are LOADS of "Custom Application Settings" specifically..........
3Dpaint....pro/engineer....AutoCad....Maya....Helix.......and much more.

All i know is those drivers gained me close to 500 points on 3d mark 2001. Beta or not beta i don't care they work for me and they work darn well :) Thanks again Placid.

Hmmm ... on my PixelView TNT2 M64 card, the maximum RAM setting is 178 MHz. On 179+, I get artifacts (lines and polygons and stuff). My 3DMark 2001 score is 1050 (Celeron 800 @ 1108). With my old processor, a Celeron 300 @ 450, I got just around 400 3DMarks.
I got an ELSA GEForce2 GTS Vid... the drivers are dated 11/1999 4.xxxxx - on the main rig, my AMD is more current and is a VISIONTEC card.
would these be the same drivers as the 22.50 you are talking about?
No Jbell. The Detonator 22.50 drivers have only been out for about one week.

ARGH!!!!!!! This site is great I even found new drivers for my old vid card that I temporarely swaped for the TNT2 Pro, but no new drivers for this stupid Rage Furry MAXX:mad: :mad: :mad:

I downloaded the newest 22.50 drivers and benchmarked about 40 points higher on 3Dmark2001 when compared to the 21.83 drivers I was using. Image quality looked excellent too. These nVida drivers just keep getting better. Sweet!
i tried it but coulndt get any noticeable difference to the 21.83 - at least for 3dmark2000.

Here is my 3D2000 and 3D2001 scores
Det.12.81 - 3D2K- 2421
3D2K1 - 4994
Det.XP 3D2K - 2662
3D2K1 - 5346
Det. 22.5 3D2K - 2813
3D2K1 - 5948
I would say these drivers are the best ones yet. It is a definate noticeable difference. ( And people wonder why I stay w/ nVidia)
From 12.81 to the 22.5, its a 954 mark jump.

well the reason they are not at nvidia.com is because they are most likely unofficial drivers or leaked drivers, nvidia havn't officially updated drivers for a little while now as current drivers are experimental.
since i started using detXP and the following 22.50 my customized colors would never work into any direct3d application. has anyone also got the same problem? its a boring issue once i need this kind of correction.. could only get it working fine in 6.50 and 12.90..

I spent about 2 weeks tweaking the bejesus out of my system to get higher 3dmark scores.....
Check this out:
3dmark2001 scores---
1.3 Ghz Tbird Windows 98se Geforce2 Pro 230/265 = 4700
with 22.50 dets on same system = 5200
then I installed winXP Pro = 5280
then I installed an AthlonXP oc'ed to 1.6 Ghz (10.5*152)= 5765
then I lapped my GPU cooler (blue orb modded with Gorb Fan) and ramsinks and tweaked out my gfx settings throgh GTU = 5800
I have seen a couple of Geforce 3 scores that high! I'm psyched!
I don't know how Element-Xero got that number. My 3Dmark2001 with "defaults setting" is 5174. I use Windows XP Pro with driver 22.80.

sorry i forgot to say that i always benchmark in 800x1024 with 32 bit color all others maxed.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they are leaked drivers probably beta. Sooner or later nvidia will release the final official new drivers.
