CS:S and Widescreen

hey guys i just bought a dell 2405 widescreen screen. and i wanted to know if CS:S, Call of Duty and Are of Empire off the bat will take the resolutions of the 2405.. or do i have to change some settings in the CONFIG files of the games???

also i have a 6800 gt (agp) will the vid and monitor make a nice couple... like will i still be able to have the great resolutions and eyecandy that i have with my BENQ 19: 937's..

yeah youll have to set each game, cs:s for sure neways

Hit up http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/ and click the "Master Game List" on the left side of the page if the game doesnt support widescreen res. they will teach you how to make the game display in a widescreen res.

wat you u mean. or what does he mean...

2. will the game automatically be able to accept the res. (game setting > Video)

Yes, just got into CS:S and change the video resolution. Resolutions that your monitor can support will be displayed. (I.e. if I make my 2 monitors display in one massive, 2560x1024 monitor, CS:S will allow that, althogh it is impractical.)
