Gonna edit this.........ONLY because the way it was worded. I'm not sure if you were speaking of a copy protected program or not, but to simply ask "what is a .ace file?" would've gotten you the same answer.

Go to Downloads.com and look up winace or winrar........it's a compression format similiar to winzip, but actually a bit better.

That should help.

just making one huge zip file is too much.

As a lazy guy I like the zip better.. One easy big file ...

But if it comes to Ace or Rar.. I would choose Ace.. But then again I don't like neither too many files... And if you download one file wrong.. then all that time clicking the other ones.. well you can say bye to them too rofl

you can make one big file you dont have to break it up.

Ahh I most likely see it broken up..
Then again Zip is more popular so I'm use to it so I'll stick with it.. I dont find anything wrong with it so why change heh :D

you can break up ANY file tho........ace .rar .zip, it doesn't matter. Just use file splitter. I'm sure that's on downloads.com as well.

or you can make any file 1 large file.......the compression ratio is just better with .rar and .ace
