what i did was take on old RCA cable, chopped the ends off and split the 2 and only used one, and soldered on a mono 1/8 plug i bought from radioshack, then it was done. or you can buy a lil plug thing from radioshack that is just a mono plug with a RCA jack on the back, and hook your rca cable up in there.

you need the 2nd one on the list and I'm pretty sure you'll get coaxial spdif then and it should work with your receiver.
Ya that should work. Did the same thing on an old SB Live card. Just remember to set the output in Windows to be digital output. Typically this is a shared plug with the center/lfe channel when in analog.

on the SB Live 24bit its a shared plug with Mic In, line in, and digital I/O
