empty folder?

well i had trouble with the old version,so as asuggested i deleted the work folder and it did start running again.i had downloaded the new version and my old folder got deleted by norton.now that it is empty i have to navigate to the downloaded file to start fah.is ther any way to reinstall to my old folder or do i need the old version first?(it lost all the work done yesterday and restarted with new work today),,,,,,,,,,,,,any suggestions would be appreciated thanks, jeff

If it's the text only version of 2.x you only need to copy and paste it into your folding folder (say that really fast) and it will get or create any files that it needs.(Remember to run it twice to get a user ID) If it's the gui/console/whatever version just run the installer and it should happily install the client where you tell it to. If you are going with the 2.x client then you should only install the 2.x client and not the old one.
