InCD issues and is this a fix?

Hi guys,

So nero's InCD, second or third system I've had issues with it on, bluescreens, random crashing of other apps, remove it and it all goes away. However, I'd like to start using the darn thing.

Now I'm hearing there's a possible fix by installing this..

Which is the reader

Now, I've got InCD4 4.2.12.1 installed, the full thingy, not just the reader, so will installing that package above screw it up, or is indeed the reader the problem and will it really fix anything?

If not, does anyone know any other good ways of making InCD play nice with anything else whatsoever. This is for win 98SE.
