Partition magic question

Current I have my main HDD into 2 partitons. One running native 32bit xp pro and the secondary partition running 64bit xp pro. I wish to remove the 64 bit and return that portion of the hdd to the 32bit.

IS it possible to do this without special software? effectivly delete the x64 partition and return it to the 32bit?

Well the last time I did something like this was in the Win NT/98/2000 days. It's done in Dos using FDISK. But it's been a LONG time since I did this since I usually buy an extra drive if I need a new OS or something. Do you need to use the same HD?

and i think that if your boot files are on drive with 32bit windows you can just boot to 32bit windows and delete partitions from disk menagement in windows xp.
