I heard something about a proce drop next week. Anybody able to confirm it? What's it based on.

yeah I heard it on the front page too but I don't think they are going to drop much before xmas since they need to sell a bunch. with the northwood delay maybe p4 drops and then amd matches so there is a chance but probably not that great a drop.

I believe the price cuts you were refering to happened yesterday. If this is something else, forget I even spoke.

That's what I'm trying to find out. They sure have gone up since I bought a replacement for my fan enhanced chip.

It will take a little while for it to trickle down to the consumer.

Looks like your little while was two days. The prices are already below where the article said they'd be on Mon. I think I'll jump on it. XP 1700, here I come!
