I'm building a pc for the first time, prolly ordering the parts tonight.

but I've heard windows doesn't recognize large drives. I'm buying a 250gb hdd.

People have said you have to partition the drive so you can show 2 drives. BUt i would rather just have one. I've never installed windows before, so i don't know how to format, partition ect...

anybody know what i can do so that windows will recognize the full drive?(i know formatting will not show 250gb b/c of the 1000mb vs 1024mb thing)

thanks
