hi all I am having trouble believing the temps MBProbe and MBM5 are reporting, I know that the built in temp diode on the p4 is supposed to be very accurate but according to it I idle at 40c and full load at 44c, it never goes under 40c and never goes over 44c, I am watercooling and the specs are in my sig and this is why I cannot believe these readings because according to my digidoc the difference between the full load and idle is a bigger gap but much lower temps, only 27.3c according to it while typing this 3 minutes after running a cpu warmer program.. my question is which do i believe the supposedly very accurate diode built into the cpu or the digidoc? Any help or comments are greatly appreciated!

Does seem weird but you may want to ask pentium with P4 already.

Not too sure either... I was/and still having the same problem. I don't have a digidoc but using software to monitor my temps. All I know is that software monitoring is reasonably inaccurate. I would be tempted to go with the digidoctor with this one as it was built specificly to monitor temps. I think that 27 or so degrees is about right as intel chips run fairly cool, and with water cooling, your temps should drop a fair bit. Only speculating here, as I have no proof or experience with P4s.
