I want a slow windows. Plese help

This could sound strange to some of you, but does somebody know any apllication for slowing down windows XP? I want to do that because of my brother that is allways ****ing me off. I really hate him and I want to slow his computer. He is going to implore mercy

The easiest way is this:
Step 1: Uninstall his anti-virus
Step 2: Look at porn on his comp
Step 3: Clear history
Step 4: Leave, since his comp will now be infested with viruses

I wouldn't suggest actually doing that though... if he's not using an OEM POS, then you might be able to underclock the CPU. That should slow it down a bit

Go into services.msc & turn everything to automatic (on)
(start/run/services.msc)

then reboot his pc. that'll suk up the memory.

Make a list of stuff you turn on so you can return it to normal at your discression.



You can always open up his case & physically remove one of his memory sticks.
(if he has more than one)

Unplug the HDD?

copy his C drive into a folder, rename all the files IHATEU.doc or USUK.wpd.... can do several time with various size hdds.

that way it takes up A WHOLE LOT OF ROOM on his hdd.

unplug his monitor.

Physicall remove the keys from his keyboard & rearrange them.

Office jokes go a long way.

Cut his ram to 128MB or less. I see far too many OEM PCs that come installed with XP and only have 128MB of ram. And talk about slow with 128MB ram.

am i the only that had to look up 'implore'?

i would install FAH and set the priority very high.

Underclock his PC to the lowest it can go, install Fold@Home, set the priority on very high, set everything in the services to automatic.

Lets see him get out of that.

just get some old speedhack program like gear or changespeed and turn it down instead of up.

Make Page filing huge and take out a few sticks of ram, that's a noticeable lag. Underclocking works too.

Run several benchmark progams at the same time. Go into the bios and change your FSB to something low, like 12. You *could* also touch something like a ram chip and move your bare feet on carpet. The last answer will generally slow things down.

I can't believe you use stars to measure how senior a poster is...

And we all know that he has to sort out his issues, but that's not for us to tell him, this is the MS OS forum.

You need to look up the definition of "hack" also.

Telling people to "grow up" doesn't make you big.
