A guy I work with (a self proclaimed "weather nut") told me this today:
Tonight, is Halloween, and there is a full moon. (Oooooooh spooky) :eek:
From what he said...this only happens that a full moon will fall on this particular date (10/31) once every 54 years!!!.
Kinda cool....

Hate to burst bubbles, but the full moon doesn't happen until 5:42 am ;) so really tonight is "almost" a full moon, but the real fun doesn't start till just before dawn...when the moon is at it's strongest and the night is wavering before the dawn of a new day the spirits call out to be freed from their prison and the darkness hears their cry and spawns forth a trillion stars to give them voice. Some voices may faulter, and those will be the shooting stars you see. and then sometimes, once in a blue moon, something tears free from it's dark prison of nothingness to set upon the world.
