Funny how I just heard about this, dont think it ever showed up as a "windows update" IS there any reason to download it? Can you tell if you already got it?

dxdiag shows version 4.09.0000.0904

3DMark06 has to have it in order to work. It does not install automatically with windows update - well for me it didn't. It's included in the 3D06 installer but is 46 megs by itself otherwise.
